I also sent a G-1145. I did not get a text/email. About 10 days later I got a letter in the mail saying they received it along with a second letter for biometrics appointment. My timeline for renewal: submitted late July - Bio mid August - Approved and got card late August.

I would call them and find out what's up. As far as R Mercado, that's messed up if true!

Definitely call, similar thing happened to me and I was reassured when I called to get info and received notification letter & biometrics at the same time shortly after

They really fucked their system, I created an account back in 2013 and I can't use it because I don't remember the username and password. Can't recover it because their shoddy database crashes when trying to find what my security questions were (I don't think there were any). Will have to make a new one with a new email address it seems.
