Conventions Anime/Comic/Video game /Cosplay

Hello I was wandering if any other dreamers, were into conventions and cosplay.

i always go to San Diego Comic Con every year.. well i try atleast.

used to go to local cons like wizard world, local cons, toy cons, sac anime but once i started going to SDCC, other cons just dont do it for me.

SDCC is the mecca of cons!

I want to go one day and hook up with some anime girls.

Always had an interest to check out E3.

Attended AWA - Anime Weekend Atlanta, this past weekend.

Went with a friend and co-worker who cos-played as Tracer; she was really into it.
It was worth it just to meet folks and observe the cos-play of others - some of it was quite good in the minuteness of the detail.

Had more fun than I ever imagined I would - I'm not even enthusiastic about anime either.

Just be mindful you don't spend your next three months worth of rent money while you are there in the merchandise booths.

Overall, would definitely go again.
(Especially to the after-parties and 'events' that take place at mid-night.)

Did you get with her at the end of the night?

What would it matter either way to you? I certainly don't require the validation or approbation in relation to my personal affairs of anyone from an anonymous forum.


Get out more and stop lurking in these forums all day; there is a world else where.

Since attending, I do see the appeal. Not sure if id go so far as cos-playing myself, but the folks there seems to be having enormous fun, which I can appreciate and vicariously enjoy.

Most of the panels were entertaining enough too.
You can feel the 'Con' buzz in the air, it was both palpable and infectious.

Would go again.
Especially with friends (to make sense of some of it..).

I will take that as a no. A really hard no.
