This forum helped me start the DACA process for my husband and then a renewal again in 2014.

Now I am back to ask for AOS questions.

His AOS journey started before trump officially came into office but right after he was announced president of the US.

My husband was granted advanced emergency parole to visit his sick grandmother in Mexico City, came back and stamped his passport that now shows he legally entered the US.
We started this process back in Jan.

now this is his case updates.

Form I-130 case was received on 5-15-2017 receipt notice described how case will be processed & no update since May.
Form I-145 request for evidence was received on 8-28-2017 the NBC office will begin working on your case again. No update since Aug.
Form I-765, card was mailed on Sept. 25th. Which we received 5 days later.

Now where do we go from here?
How long do we expect to wait this out?
& should I be worried that no update has been made on form I-130?

I'm getting pretty anxious here. Thanks!

You wait. Depending on where you live, you may wait longer than a year. And since you received a RFE, you'll be waiting a little longer (probably). My case from start to finish was 8months. But I've heard of cases taking over a year. Not much you can do about it. Your husband can renew his work permit for free on a yearly basis until your case is finalized.

I live in Fresno where my field office is also located at.
I'm hoping our case goes faster than 1 year. I'm anxious and I cant even fathom how much more anxious he must feel.

Thank you! did not know that he was able to renew his work permit for free. hopefully we wont have to renew! thanks.
