Really hope democrats start pushing out some amendments, I don't think we've had a single vote on the Dream Act yet in any shape or form.

Yes that worries me too! I mean I know it will mostly likely happen in Dec but it would be nice to see some amendments or attempts by the Dems. Would be reassurance that they're serious about it.

Pretty much, I am hopeful (because what other choice do I have) but I feel like again it'll be all bark with no bite with some 11th hour vote that fails.

Nothing will get done until Congress is forced to, that is, December or end of February.

If nothing gets done by the end of Feb, prey for Trump's "heart".

well, they haven't done anything for US citizen kids on the CHIP program that just expired, so how much are they going to worry about fixing DACA?

That's exactly what I'm afraid of happening.

We just have to hope for the best and plan for the worst.

Stay positive my friends. Remain hopeful!

Keep your head down, stay out of trouble and focus on school/work. It will eventually pay off - your achievements will help you later in life - either in this country or somewhere else.
