Thought I would share the following considering that many at times ask for clarification as to what documents are acceptable when traveling domestic.

I work in the hospitality industry. Currently, I am with Hilton Worldwide. For the past 6 years, I've traveled at least once every three weeks. There have been times when I go from one city to another nonstop for weeks.

I have traveled to Puerto Rico probably about 15 times - absolutely no issues. I am currently in Fairbanks Alaska - no issues. I have only used my New Mexico drivers license... never have I busted out with DACA documents or Employment Authorization card.

I crossed a border checkpoint in New Mexico once... never doing it again. I was allowed to continue my drive south to El Paso, but only after the agent asked me multiple questions, as expected.

I am considering traveling to Guam in January. I will let all of you know how that goes. I am staying away from Marina Islands as I've been told security can get complicated.

Sorry for any typos, oh, and PLEASE stay away from Cruise ships !!!!

Good luck my friends

How do you like Fairbanks?

I was there a couple years ago in the middle of winter. The gf and I had a cabin to ourselves in the boonies. We hit up the Chena Hot Springs, which was dope. Check out North Pole if you haven't. Not much to see there but funny how it's Christmas there year round. The light poles and even the fast food signs have candy cane painted around.

Thanks for sharing your insight. Any experience traveling to Guam?

Hey Bud! I was at North Pole yesterday. Loved the Candy Cane street lights. I made it half way to Chena springs in my rental today.. but turned back because of the icy road.

Overall, enjoyed Fairbanks.

Any chance you visited Oasis Restaurant & Lounge off University Ave and Geist? That place played a significant role in my life.

The breakfast there is awesome too.

This seems like the proper place.I recently traveled to Disney with my significant other. There were no delays due to identification or a need to show DACA. One significant thing I did notice was ICE Police around the TSA inspection points on arrival, but didn't see anything when departing.

I usually travel domestically about 4 times a year for work related purposes (I work in the oil and gas), and about twice for vacation domestically as well, and I've always show is my Texas DL, nothing else. I hope this won't change.
