If Republicans really want to help us out, they have to do it before December, not next year, or else they will be left looking like assholes if the government gets shut down due to their unwillingness to pass dreamer relief. They have to act now or get on board with DA being attached to government funding bill.

This is hopefully a sign that anti-immigrant rhetoric and ads will not work in 2018 and that Republicans will be landslided out of House if they try to do what Gillespie did and ride Trumpism to a win. It will hopefully motivate the GOP to pass something for Dreamers; this is the best time to get them to act now that they are probably panicking a bit in their caucus seeing the results of last night's results.

Dogman is right. Pelosi is trying to fool us again. The only thing she is thinking about is her own interest (of derailing every Trump's agenda) and insisting on something that Trump can never accept. If DA happens, it's the end of her political career.

Pelosi got the DA through the house in 2010 and she was actually happy about it passing back then, I saw the vote, woman was holding back tears.

How is it the end of her political career? There's other shit that democrats want - better healthcare, not crashing the government into the ground. You think that the whole chamber will just dissolve after Dream Act passes?

Although I am happy of the results. Democrats need to take this a reminder to not nominate a far leftists.

We need to nominate people similar to Roy Cooper, Ralph Northam and John Bel Edwards. I don't think a Bernie Sanders or an Elizabeth Warren or a Cory Booker will take us over the finish line.

Centrism is where it's at folks. Haven't experienced it first handed; however, I have friends who've experienced extremes on both sides and they are ironically equally brutal.

Bernie sanders had a huge grassroots movement and had energized millenials. Unfortunately killary had to use her standard dirty tricks, and fucked it up for everyone by cheating.

Its possible that a bernie supported by the DNC could've won the whitehouse and lead to a democrat victory across the board.

At least you arent proposing black hillary.
