No, it hasn't been that long since biometrics. It can take several weeks to several months after biometrics. Is this a renewal or first time applying?

Have you tried reaching about to your Congressmen or Senator (assuming they are immigrant friendly)?

When do you expire?

In my case and (in at least few others) we get approved about a month out

Once you hit 105 days since they received your app, try everything here:
http://www.ilrc.org/sites/default/fi...yed-201608.pdf

USCIS won't help, you may want to skip those steps, but contacting ombudsman and your congress person seems to be your best bet.
I regret not sending my renewal earlier. I didn't know they were accepting them 180 days before expiration. I thought it was between 120-150 days.
I then regret not contacting my congress person sooner. I heard from them a couple days before I expired and they are trying to help me. They said they helped others but they didn't know how long it would take.

I did bio-metrics in August and am still waiting.

I did my biometrics on 10/27/17 so it's been a little over a month. My work permit expires 1/24/18 so not too far from now. So I'm starting to worry. I thought I would hear something within 1 month seeing it's my 2nd renewel.
