Just saw CNN’s State Of The Union with Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin. They talked about DA with some good questions for them about the government shutdown due to DA. Make sure to watch the interview some good information about the negotiations and willingness from both Senators. DA must pass in December and eye believe it will.

Lets keep faith and hope for a December to remember!!!

Graham: It will be sad to lose this opportunity.

Indeed!

What is Durbin's problem with blocking omnibus if it does not include DA?

Why is he so hesitant?

This breaks my heart.

Of all the people, he should be the first to block DAless omnibus!

Maybe he doesn't want to make it sound like a story of "dems shut down government over dream act, putting vets in risk" or something. The question that was asked was quite worded with bad intent

Honestly we are so away from midterms with so many scandals coming our way (seems like Mueller is very hard at work reading through Donny Moscow's taxes and Flynn is singling like a canary to avoid getting put into jail) that by Nov 6th 2018 most won't remember there was a government shutdown.

This is a very good point. Who else here knows about Equifax breach? Hell the GOP is counting on all the noise and fanning the flames with sexual allegations in Hollywood to ram their tax bill.

I don't think he needs to say it. Most R's know that if the DA is not solved then the government shuts down. Saying it just going to invite the conservatives hawks to make unnecessary noise from their base.
