I think this won't get anywhere because it does not include aged out Dreamers.

They are especially scared of Dreamers, college graduates tend to be very blue block, add to that republicans being dicks to us for 16 years and we end up with the ultimate republican nightmare:

1. Very democratic (I'd say DACAers would be somewhere around 90-95% D).
2. College Educated - propaganda probably won't work since we can fire up google and see what's up. Also wedge issues won't work. The weapons of past 40 years are ineffective.
3. Personal grudges - Lets be honest, if CIR passed in 2006 and got signed by Bush none of us would care that much. In 2017 after being made into America's boogeyman we have good reasons to want republicans to burn, figuratively and literally.
4. We will rush to citizenship. Unlike most immigrants that just get their green cards and kinda keep them for decades without much action we have been involved or at least aware of the political process, and with citizenship being something that has been denied to us for so long, I'm sure a huge chunk of us will file their N-400s on the first day they'll be able to.
5. Texas - lots of Dreamers live there and Texas isn't that red as people think, it's 38% white and it only hangs on voter apathy. Imagine 200k Dreamers getting off their asses and voting it blue? Republicans would never win the presidency in the next lifetime. You'd really need one election to wake up all the democrats that "oh shit, my vote isn't worthless, where's the polling place?"
