House Freedom Caucus is meeting at 5:45 pm et to discuss how to handle spending bill. Don't want DACA attached. Some want a longer funding bill beyond Dec 22. Freedom Caucus notes Hse ok'd all spending bills

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was just on the floor pushing a short-term spending bill to keep the government open through December 22 to avoid a government shutdown. The government is funded through 11:59:59 pm et Friday.

as a Chemist, I am on the same boat.

IMO border security is needed, i am not talking about a wall or a moat. More funding to help with infrastructure, such as more properly trained agents, better equipment, speedy deportations. I am sure people working for the agency have much better ideas and can construct to make their jobs easier and maintain order along the border.

At the worst it means a CR until Dec. 22nd. That's only if the House gets enough votes without Dems. We'll see what the Freedom Caucus meeting decides.

I just can’t handle all this suspense anymore. I feel like our chances keep getting slimmer as the days pass.

Chill man, we are all in this together. Some cope with this situation differently than others.
