My USCIS online account question...

Hello!! Does any one know how the online account for checking case status work?
So I created an uscis account online to check my case status...as of December . 6 my case is still under being reviewed! It hasn’t changed since! Is this normal that it doesn’t change the update day? ? Once approval will I get an email or should I just keep checking everyday?

If you've signed up for an email or mobile notification, you'll get those. It's easier once you have the USCIS account, and just add the case numbers that you want to subscribe alerts to. I tried it last time around and remember getting texts when there was a change. This way you don't have to check every day.

I heard many cases have not updated. Some received EAD and still says Case was received.
