Oh btw, I'm not sure if she was lying or this was a generic message that didn't mean anything but the aide told me that the Dream Act is a priority for a year end deal. I was not terribly convinced (hence the other comment I made) but it seems like it's still kind of on the table.

So stupid to think about that just because of legality, life will always goes on with papera or no papers.
All i know is that ill go back to my country and enjoy the beautiful beaches if nothing happens

Seriously this -

How did it go from; " we got this we hold the republicans the balls. We will shut down the government to help the dreamers"

To

"The movement is strong we still got this! "

And finally to

" okay you know what we aren't really sure about the whole shutting the government down just to help a few people hmm. Maybe we should take a vote on this and hey if nothing comes out this. Then 201& is a great year for a DACa fix"

Ha, your privilege is showing. I'll get to go back to a country filled with corruption, little travel access and most importantly, laws on the books that allow the police to harass and violently attack people like me and my relatives to kill me for being who I am.

When we realized that just like in the past, Dems would prioritize the will of Republicans over the will of its own base.

Cornyn wants Trump to extend DACA so the senate doesn't have to consider a Dreamer bill. That makes no sense. - @jbreisblatt

That's fucking stupid. The same issue will come during the next deadline then. They have to pass SOMETHING right now.

The latest on the spending bill deadline: "Right now, no one on either side of the Capitol has any clear idea how this three-way funding fight will play out" @tedhesson
