This is not great news . It’s only great news for people who are absolutely convinced nothing was going to pass. The Supreme Court will definitely block this ruling before any renewal instructions can even be put out.

You guys saying this doesn't matter since were close to citizenship, I'd like to hear you say the same when you get jack shit and the only option is to renew DACA.

This will backfire on us so bad. Our issue will be punted, and the Supreme Court will say the decision to end DACA was within his rights, and then we will be screwed.

Trump did say he would revive the program if nothing got done on time. This could be his way out. He can just blame the courts and tell his base he tried.

Trust me that the administration can slow walk the process before anyone can get a renewal in. I don’t see any upside to this at all. The urgency gets lost and no one gets a renewal in time .

Time for you to get it done, Congress. A court in California knows DACA termination is unlawful. Do your job, make this protection permanent and real. I am ready to see that bill of love. #DreamActNow

The pressure needs to stay the same!

I see the point you are making, It would make sense that this would irritate Trump if he does indeed plan on passing DACA. It depends on how optimistic you are about Trump and the GOP party following through. I don't see Trump living up to his word.

I can't think of anything that is in favor of immigrants or anybody else he ran against and demonized that he has so far done anything positive in their favor. It seems like he is just playing games like he always does with something he has no real intention of following through on.
