Didn't the Supreme Court tie 4-4 for DAPA? With Gorsuch, DAPA will probably be ruled unconstitutional (5-4). But what about if Garland was on there? Then DAPA would probably ruled constitutional (5-4).

My point is, what Obama did is not necessarily executive overreach. If it is, it is only executive overreach by a small margin. If it isn't, DAPA would be constitutional, again, by a small margin.

It's not certain what the Supreme Court will decide because of how close it is. Admittedly, odds are against us.

Yeah exactly my thinking. Why now I feel like this is a set up.
A denial is different than an application rejection. One means they decided you aren't eligible (no refund) and the other one means your application was rejected (refund). Anyway they've taken away the forms, etc on USCIS website so it's not possible yet to every try.

I am somewhat skeptical about this. I saw this right after watching the meeting that happened in the white house today. It seemed like they were making some progress. And now this? Maybe some people in the far left did not like what they saw today so they nudged this judge to make this ruling... I do not know, but it seems like too much of a coincidence... The televised meeting in the white house about DACA and then a judge rules on DACA.... I do not know.

DAPA is much different than DACA, one huge difference is that DAPA was never implemented like DACA was.

Did you send personal check? If so, they cashed it and rejected your applicatoin?

Either way if the only thing you're risking is $500, it's still a good gamble.

And does the difference help or hinder us in our chances in the Supreme Court?

I'd say help, no?

I'm sure someone has the forms saved on their hard drive. If DACA goes back into effect, is the real question.
