I will if the opportunity opens up. I expire at the end of Sept. and could use the extra time under a new EAD to plan my wedding and get that squared away.

Same here, expire in September. September is 8 months away, say something passes in January and it takes 3 months to implement, then another 4-6 months for approval, there's a possibility that we will lose protection for a while before we are approved for any new protection.

I’m sure they may figure a way to extend protections while we wait.

Yeah, they should, but I don't if they could handle it logistically, sending out 800k renewed EAD cards.

Maybe people will be able to apply for some kind of extension while they wait?

Maybe, although it would be kinda iffy extending protection without first making us do biometrics again.

Losing money is the least of your concern. If by some luck you get renewed, then that's worth $60,000 at the least.

This is great news for people expiring soon, this is politics nothing guarantees a fix soon, actually this put more pressure on them to fix it instead of daca recipients expiring little by little and the presure dies with that too we are back in the Shadows, they said December, than January.
