Hi everyone. I'm 26 years old and got a dui back in 2014 and was denied for my renewal for daca in 2015. Its been about 3 years since then and with all the chatter going on about possible deals and CIR, do you guys think that having a dui will still exclude me from being able to qualify for any of the possible laws that may came out? Whether it be CIR or any form of daca. Thanks in advance.

I lost a friend earlier this week to an accident caused by a drunk driver so honestly I have no sympathy. You are not only risking your life but are risking an innocent person’s life.

We’re all a wreckless at some point in our life, I would expunge the record and then apply for the renewal.

Easy to write it off as being wreckless when you haven’t lost someone dear due to tragedy that could be avoided.

Most likely you won't be accepted into any future relief bill. Some people have even lost their DACA suddenly because of a past record even after being approved. Regardless if you get expunged it's coming back to haunt some people.
