You mean deportation force and end to family petitions in exchange for bridge act? At least have the courage to say what you really mean: I'm willing to sell out other dreamers in exchange for a 3 year work permit.

1.) They limited chain migration of DREAMers only. Democrats will not waiver on chain migration on a bigger scale. I'm not sure how much negotiation can be done on this aspect.

2.) Border money was at 1.6B, I believe. This needs to be raised, and it can possibly be negotiated.

3.) Coverage can be negotiated. First, no protection for parents. Next (and much more difficult), who of all DREAMers won't be included?

Durbin already said #3 is nonnegotiable. The only thing they can do is more money for the wall (which they should do). Make it like 8B over 8 years.

That isn't good, I would have rejected that myself. Personally, I want more border security.

I think it's laughable to think the GOP will accept a bill that covers anyone other than DACA recipients unless subtantial concessions are made. I'm talking about ending chain migration for everyone and way more money for the wall.

Any Dreamer that supports Goodlatte bill needs a good mental evaluation.

Yep, just do DACA eligible people at this point cuz that's the problem they are trying to solve.

It is also laughable to think DEMs will allow end of chain migration (maybe under CIR...)
