I sent my application on September, did my biometrics shortly after and have been under review since October 2nd.
I expire on the 27 of this month and I'm losing my shit because I can't lose my job right now. I just got a new apartment last year and I'm still making payments on my car. I have enough to money saved up to live without work for 1 month. After that I don't know what I'm going to do. I hate puting all the stress on my wife. We have 2 kids and she's thinking of getting a second job just to see if we can scrape by until my permit gets accepted.

Sorry about the rant and spelling. It's 3:30am and for the last few weeks I haven't been able to sleep well. But it feels good writing it down and venting a little.
Anyway, any one is still waiting like me? Surely I can't be the only one right?

I feel for you. My TPS work permit expires January 18th 2018. Today is my last day at work because it's the last day of the pay period. My coworkers are suppose to be throwing me a party and I can't promise that I won't cry my eyes out. I really don't know what to do either but we got to stay strong.

My wife and I are waiting on our i-130 application to get approved.

I heard the waiting time for this type of application has been increased from 6 months to 9 months. This is frustrating.

@slowbalt LolLol this makes laugh, you are rich compared to how Ive been the last 5 months. I would suggest get rid of your car payment and get s cheaper car, and find a cheaper place to live. Save the money that otherwise go to these items. It took a while to land a job, some weeks within the last few months were particularly hard where I didnt have money for food. I had to sell my blood (literally) to get by LolLolLol

I'm not rich, I just made the right decision in life to get where I am now. The car is a necessity for our family and the place too. I unfortunately live in Southern California and finding a cheaper place is almost impossible, and we signed a 1 year contract. Oh well good luck to you.
