DACA car lease - Page 2

I just got a car for my mother. My credit union didn't want to offer me a lease because my EAD expires and a year and a half+. But the dealer got me a pretty sweet deal. It's just a matter of luck I guess.

Where you located? and what dealership did you lease your car with?

I haven't leased, but I financed my first car with literally my social being a few months old thru a credit union. I had that car for a a few years then earlier this year I financed again but now thru BMW financial. All I needed was my DL. Try a diff car dealership

At what point did they start asking about your status? Did you tell them you were DACA?

I financed a car 5 years ago with DACA, and recently co-leased a car for my sibling, who also has DACA.

They asked for my EAD card only (i'm the main on the lease).

I got my 2014 335xi with no problem at all. But I had my social for years and I have a pretty good job and credit score, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

My lease expires next month and I am pretty nervous. I wonder if the same dealer will give me a problem

i leased my BMW x6 last couple months without any problem but it depends on your State and credit score , relationship with your bank and also don't tell them your status

On our ID's, it says "Temp Immigration status", I always though they could see that it's DACA related when they run it, no? If not, what would be a good excuse if they ever ask why it says temp immigration status?

What kind of ID you show them? In my state they only need your Driver license and SSN thats all they need

Driver license, and social as well. But don't you have "Temp Immgr Status" written in red on top right of your driver license?
