How early can we renew?

With the recent update I’m thinking there is a small window to renew. I expire 10/26/18. Is it too early to send in my renewal request? I’ve heard they can deny if you send in too early.

They are operating with the same rules for renewal as before, right? If that’s the case, we can only file for a renewal 150 days prior to the expiration date.....I expire in December and wondering if they will process my renewal if I send it this month.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt the 150-120 days just a suggestion from uscis?

Yes.

Just a rule of thumb. Not an official policy.

People here can't even risk $500 to ensure a good future for themselves for the next two years. If there was ever a gamble worth taking, this is it. And most likely if they reject your app, they will return your check along with the app. You can keep it aside for renewal later if the injection is not struck down by then.

I think people that expire like 7-8+ months from now will almost certainly have their application rejected and asked to apply later. Let's just remember who is in charge of this administration
