$8b+ for border security/wall funding, changes to chain migration to allow only children under 21 and spouses, end to dv lottery and switch it to a merit based system, path to citizenship for Dreamers.

Dems would never go for that ! Too broad !

GOP aides believe that the group of four deputy leaders from both chambers — the “No. 2’s,” as they are being called on Capitol Hill, including Durbin, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and House Majority Whip Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) — is more likely to produce a workable immigration accord, which would then unlock an agreement on spending levels and other outstanding issues.

Someone said Durbin has been fighting for us for 17 years, yeahh but look where we still are?? His biggest chance to get it passed and look what happens.

At the end of the day Durbin has had a stable job for 17 years with great benefits and pay, and what have we gotten? Repeated slaps in the face with dissapointments after dissapointments

@JJ Glo

I agree good plan...but will Dems take it?

Dems are currently focused I feel on mid term elections already. Sen Durbin is our hero who is fighting for us all these 17 years BUT I PERSONALLY FELT shaming president about NON-DACA issue NOT HELPING OUR CAUSE President can simply walk away and current conservatives Republicans will not support any bills without President Trumps blessings in the end we dreamers WILL KEEP DREAMING GC's

I have a contact in Durbin's office. He has been working tirelessly for months to help us. There would be no bipartisan bill if it wasn't for him. There is no one in the Senate that cares more for us then Durbin. Some of you are thankless.

No one is placing blame on Durbin. All we’re saying is that nothing positive can come out of this back and forth finger pointing. At the end of the day, is his signature we need. This whole he said she said isn’t going to get us anywhere.

I'm not thankless at all. I appreciate his effort and Im sure there would not have been DACA without him, but it just seems fishy to me is all.

What hurts us more is they are blaming each other FOR NON-DACA issue.....they should take this fight when Congress is working on TPS Bill not in our DACA BILL!!!!!
