Wow. Your story is amazing. But I truly believe all of our hardships make us stronger. People from the opposition should read your story... I don't know how they could be against the DREAM Act after reading it. Anyway, welcome to DAP. Let's work together to make DREAM a reality

Sparklepouf - I am also from Poland, as well as several other forum members.

I can't really offer you any advice since you've been through more than me.

Just know this: We are here, we are determined, we are doing everything we can for all of us.

Though I can't speak for all of us you must know that we have here a core group of people who are dependable and I can promise you on their behalf that we will not fail you, each other, or people like us.

Thank you for the kind words and for everything you do to promote this cause. I've contacted Senators and newspaper editors myself. You all should follow Mark Brown's articles in the Sun-Times. As I'm sure most of you know - it feels really good to get this off your chest. It's amazing to know that you're not alone.

Youguysareawesome & erikasxoxo: I've thought about contacting Oprah before, haha. My friend's sister actually works for her and I've been able to visit Harpo studios before. This is something I have often thought about.

J6: Thank you. Every day I wake up hoping for a better day. Does anybody wake up in the morning - in disbelief that this is actually happening to them? It's so surreal sometimes. How long you've been dealing with this doesn't seem to make a difference.

Sparklepouf, your story prompted me to register and be part of this fantastic community. I can only wish you the best for your future. Do not ever give up, you must keep going and graduate as a Bioengineer and try not to feel sad (study hard, sadness only creates stress and that doesn't let you concentrate...it's like the dark force). The skills you are gaining in college are something that you will gain (greencard or not) and they are valuable anywhere in the world. This country needs more people like you. People who are willing to fight even when the chances are against you. First thing monday, I will call my congressman and senator to let them know I support the DREAM ACT. Be strong buddy, I know you will be alright in the end.

Im telling you... Oprah is the way to go!!! LOL
