To be fair, the WH did concede and stood up to its base by accepting path to citizenship to be included in any serious deal.

Just a few months ago, citizenship was out of the question.

Fake concession. The main issue right now is chain migration. Why is legal immigration even part of the conversation? Why aren't Dem pundits talking about the ridiculousness of taking away rights for American citizens that want to sponsor family? Also the whole thing about they are bringing their cousins and uncles is false. You can't even sponsor them, and even sibling sponsorship has a 15 yr backlog.
