You guys need to pay attention in civics.. Geez calm down. Dems want to vote tonight because gop doesn't have the votes. GOP wants to delay.

They want a vote of cloture, which will not pass. Then tomorrow they can begin negotiations. DEMs don't really want the government to shutdown. The points is to force the GOP to come to the table to find a compromise.

What is cloture? Begin negotiations on DACA or passing the CR?

It's for CR. Cloture is a procedure to end debate and then take a vote. It needs 60 votes.
