There is a theory that the only way to re-open the government if there is a shutdown is to have a DACA bill in place. That’s something which infuriates GOPers. But they like taking the stand.
The Senate returns at 11 am et.

Fox is told GOPers will NOT give in on DACA and attach it to the interim spending bill. Plus, there is not a DACA plan..etched out in legislative text...which could pass the Senate right now.

There is a maximum of 47 GOP yeas to end the filibuster now on the CR. GOPers Flake, Graham & Paul are noes. Cobbling together 13 Democrats to break the filibuster is a mathematical impossibility.

Does this mean Republicans need 13 Democrats to vote "Yes"?
