Senate GOP Whip Cornyn on gov’t shutdown: “It doesn’t sound good.” Cornyn thinks the procedural vote will come before 1 am et Sat, which is when it could happen if they do this by the book. Says “it doesn’t make sense” to do it after the midnight deadline.
