President Trump's legislative director, Marc Short, said on Sunday Trump is open to a legislative fix for recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as the government enters its second day of the shutdown.

OMB Dir Mulvaney on Fox: We probably need at least those three weeks to try and negotiate DACA. Let’s be clear, the President wants to resolve DACA..We’re very interested in getting worked out


This is bullshit of course the title of this thread is not what it really means. They are promising to pass it in the next 3 weeks if they re open the govt kinda like McConnell promising flake a vote

Yup, they want to open the gov't so they can push the goodlatte bill then say they tried when dems vote against it due to the poison pills in it.
