GENERAL REQUIREMENTS.—The requirements under this paragraph are that the alien—

(A) is physically present in the United States on the date on which the alien submits an application for contingent nonimmigrant status;

(B) was physically present in the United States on June 15, 2007;

(C) was younger than 16 years of age on the date the alien initially entered the United States;

(D) is a person of good moral character;

(E) was under 31 years of age on June 15, 2012, and at the time of filing an application under subsection (c);

See (E). I am not seeing any retroactive provision.

Was just coming back to post this -- Thanks for clearing this up and making people stop freaking out about the 31 cap. Although this bill is still ridiculous.

This would honestly suck for many of us because many of qualified for DACA, BUT you have to be under 31 at the time of the application? It is so arbitrary and fucked up.

No you don’t . They are just laying out the daca requirements meaning they left out older dreamers.

Exactly, it says has to be under 31 back in June 12, 2012 -- So pretty much the same rules set by DACA.

And kept reading the bill, and still have to ask permission to leave the country, and can't be out of the country for more than 15 days every 3 years, WTF? Also, we don't qualify for tax credits, so don't get solar panels or babies if this bill passes.

Not true. I got the $7500 federal rebate for Tesla.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I was having issues understanding that damn sentence. I wasn't clear on whether it meant under DACA or application for bill relief.

This is a shitty bill. The ones left out of DACA should not be punished.
