I have spoken with some really nice folks and I tried to bring up DACA indirectly without telling them I am a DACA holder. They say that they understand that DACA holders are in a bad situation, but we cannot just open the doors for everyone in the world. And these are regular everyday folks (not racist at all).
The problem with racism is that "regular everyday folks" who think themselves "not racist at all" are the first ones to vocally support systems which promote racism.

Also, I'm so tired of the dramatized "we can't open the door for everyone in the world." It's the oldest slippery slope in the anti-immigration handbook. We're already here, you don't have to open the door at-fucking-all.

The reason why Isis grew to where it was wasn't because of Isis itself but the millions of Muslims followers who were OKAY with Isis. They didn't support it in any shape way or form but were okay either way.

It's the same thing here. He indirectly tried to bring DACa, for people already IN and right away they tried to group us with everyone outside the USA
