So what if its legal? Laws get changed and updated all the time. Chain migration should end and a merit based system should take its place. Just because I am a DACA beneficiary doesn't mean I can't think logically about what is best for the country as a whole. And if Trump wants to deport DACA holders (he won't) then I will accept it and do it the "right" way.

So many people on this board are super into identity politics: the idea that just because I am brown or have DACA I have to be a globalist. Fuck that. You guys are really simply minded and live in your own bubble.

Pretty sure it takes 2 years dude. I've asked two different people in the past about that because they were bringing family members from DR and they both said 2 years. Unless thats only true for Dominicans. But then again idk, ive never brought anyone over here. Im only speaking against the notion that there should be such a program in the first place. Maybe for immediate family or maybe you should be able to say hey im a USC maybe you can give my mom or dad a little speed up on their process. But wtf do you guys think this is? The US is a sovereign country not a party boat. My whole argument is how I see what the nationalist see. The US losing its culture and being taking over by a Hispanic one because of people who dont want to assimilate. Thats all I'm saying. But i get it. 80% of you guys are Latinos so of course you'll take offense to that. But we all know deep inside you know what im talking about.

Not a dude. Two years for a spouse, minor children, but not for anyone else (and I already stated in my first response that it was quicker for those). Please do some research and do not rely on information from other people.

Here's the visa bulletin for Jan. 2018. For example: USCIS is currently working on applications sent in Feb. 1998 for a US Citizen trying to bring a brother or sister from Mexico. It's a bit quicker if say you are from a European nation, where they are working on applications from November 2004.

You can have a discussion about family vs merit, but argue using facts.

How long does it take for a US citizen to sponsor a parent?

I already stated that it is quick for spouses and minor children, so you must have not read that carefully.

Facts:

-Currently, the majority of illegal aliens are Mexican. Mexico is a border country so it make sense. Don't believe me look stats up online.
- I said currently because soon there will be less Mexicans as Mexican economy slowly is rising. More Mexicans are now leaving the country than coming in. Again google this

Mexican people actually do assimilate and much more easily into this "nationalist" culture you speak us. What nationalist see is brown people and this scares them. Quite pretending like you understand them because you don't unless you're actually a closet racist which we all sure you are not.

Now here's one to actually worry* about

https://blogs.wsj.com/indiarealtime/...on-to-the-u-s/

Indian and Chinese people are outpacing Mexican immigrants. Soon you won't see Mexican food trucks but noodle and curry ones around the corner.

* if you really want to pretend there is an assimilation problem

Ok well sorry for not reading that right, but doesnt change the fact that what I said had truth behind it and you sustained that.

dude.. stop being so fucking closed minded.. you calling ME a native? I mean a guy supporting nativism... wtf you talking about. Im talking about people who come here.. get GCs and dont learn a OUNCE of English. does that sound like "nativism" to you. I mean even Puerto Ricans here in NY hate that shit. Its just that you people are as senstive as the real racists are, you say one little thing about your people and you're ready to fight and you dont even care what the guy is truly saying. Gtfo of my face man.
