Def a non-starter for the WH. This idea was killed when Gang of 6 presented it.

how can an aged out dreamer that didn’t qualify for daca 2012 qualify for this? they said it on the memo, DACAers and people who wouldve qualified for DACA 2012.

Daca did not have a 50 % participation rate. The rest of this 1.8 are aged out and too young,

3.6 includes tps, hb4, h1b kids, etc. not out of status Dreamers.

Dems need to negotiate coverage for actual Dreamers, all of them.

This is crap , you all will agree to throwing your parents under the bus for yourselves? Diversity lottery I can understand but they can't have family sponsorship.

Dems can't negotiate for demshit... They've proven themselves to be practically worthless time after time. Trump has them by the balls. They should take the deal now before it gets MUCH WORSE.

If they keep an arrived by date- ie, by 2012, thats fine, but an age cap is dumb.

It doesn't make sense for the Democrats to limit family sponsorship in exchange for Dreamer relief. Those future immigrants are more likely to be Democrats than Republicans, so any limit will face opposition from the Democrats. I think they should accept the wall and the Diversity Lottery, but insist that the limits on family sponsorship be applied only to Dreamers.

I thinks Dems are going to have a hard time with this, especially all that wall funding. We'll see how negotiations go...
