We cannot help our parents if they're undocumented or visa overstayers with no petition at hand with these guidelines. It completing bars then from ever becoming citizens. And what about non dreamers you know everyone else legally here who can't wait to sponsor their parents when they turn 21? This is gonna hit a lot kore people than what we realize. I just hope once they negotiate they take this off but well with trump it's anyone's guess

They are not against you or your family they are for themselves. I don't qualify as it is no hard feelings I'll move on and shit but I just wanna be included at this point I'm not concerned at what cost.

I agree to some extent. I also think you might be wanting way too big a piece from the cake.

Lol long as you're good. You're okay with fucking over other people. I hope everyone remembers that when you need help from them.

Yeah and you should be included. That why we can't give them all their demands for just DACA. Any trade for us should not impact the rest of the undocumented population.

I know they aren't against my family, I basically agree with you. If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you qualified? If it's because you're aged out, then I gladly want to go on record and say I will always fight for people like you because I think the arbitrary cut off dates are meaningless as fuck. Every single argument that can be used to justify my existence in this country can be used in the same way on aged out Dreamers, and I won't turn my back on that.

Then why don't u guys start pushing for CIR instead. No offense but if you expect to get any type of relief something's gotta give. You either cut legal immigration which their proposing or they can exchange it an add mandatory e verify and go after sanctuary cities. Personally them adding mandatory e verify and going after sanctuary cities is what's going to hurt our undocumented people the most. And they didn't include that in their proposition.

Valid points, specially the no e-verify part. The sanctuary part they're trying to bully these cities into submission via the DOJ. I think the bill also includes adding more ICE agents which will definitely impact the undocumented community.

I will because obviously nobody serious about DA. I'm not scared of going back to the shadows and waiting a few more years. 30 billion dollars in DOHS funding going to hurt the undocumented immigrant population a hell a lot.

On the local level our undocumented community should be ok because most states and counties are trying to implement laws that would prohibit employers to work directly with ICE. Not to mention this whole thing will most likely get tied up in court.

Now if e-verify and going after sanctuary cities was in this bill, it would be even more dangerous for our undocumented community because people would be losing their jobs left and right because of E-Verify and they would also be subjects of harsher deportations with no sanctuary laws to help them. The fact that this is not in this bill is shocking to me.
