Trump did say he's open to the idea to reopen DACa. Could it be this idiot realize getting his wall won't be as easy as he though and purposely made the guidelines so neither party would agree on? Then come March 5 he can just bring back DACa and take that glory ( the one he ended lmao )

He knew republicans in congress would not agree on mass amnesty that's why his propose is benefiting 1.8 million

And he knew democrats would not agree on end chain migration

Why would he bring back DACA though? Something he’s already said it’s “unconstitutional”. Not to mention I’m sure he rather get us deported just so the Democrats get some type of urgency to do something.

This was always going to be coming down to Democrats staunchly opposing this. The fact is they do not want Trump and Republicans to take credit for this. They already offered the wall BOTH Schumer and Gutierrez. I can't understand why they can't agree to $25B for the border security system. This is all about taking credit. They don't want Trump to run away with the win in eyes of immigrants. Either way, it is going to be Trump who will end up with the win. If Dems kill this, he will say "Blame them...I did everything for DACA" and on the other end his own radical base will also be happy because there will be no "amnesty."

Here is a wild theory....he might simply extend the date. There is a VERY good reason for this and we are all experiencing it.

I'm sure the Democrats don't want Trump to take credit, but stop pretending that it's just the wall that is the issue here. The cuts to legal immigration being proposed would reduce the 1 million green cards given out every year by 25% to 50%. It just doesn't make sense to make US Citizens and legal immigrants suffer on behalf of undocumented Dreamers.

First of all it needs to be the Dream Act because Daca was terminated. Sessions is not bringing it back.

Daca was created as a temporary program for a portion of Dreamers while, supposedly, Dems were working on Dream Act.

Progressive groups are organizing against establishment of both parties. They do not support leaving any Dreamer behind as is not necessary. Deeam Act covers all Dreamers.
RAC Act covers all Dreamers
Hope Act covers all Dreamers.
USA Act covers all Dreamers.

It is not a problem to cover them all. The wall is not the problem.

It's the changes to the entire system that they are seeking as a trap.

Nope. Dream Act now.

The organizing is already happening. Bring DA to a vote.

And have it fail in both chambers. Or by some miracle it passes, have it vetoed by the president. You say that there’d be a backlash against the president if he vetoes? Well, he’ll still have his base and it’ll give him no incentive to ever come left on immigration again. I guarantee he’ll go even further right.

Nope.
Bring RAC Act to a vote and it will pass.
Bring the Dream Act to a vote and it will pass.
Bring the wall to a vote...it will probably pass right after they vote on Dream Act or RAC Act.
Bring DV termination to a vote....it will probably (reluctantly) pass.

The DA won't fail which is why they are holding it ransom to pass Cotton/Grasskey/Miller/Cornyn's bills.

Paul Cuck Ryan won't bring any bill to the floor that doesn't meet the Hasert rule.
