"A filibuster in the United States Senate is a dilatory or obstructive tactic used in the United States Senate to prevent a measure from being brought to a vote. The most common form of filibuster occurs when one or more senators attempts to delay or block a vote on a bill by extending debate on the measure. The Senate rules permit a senator, or a series of senators, to speak for as long as they wish, and on any topic they choose, unless "three-fifths of the Senators duly chosen and sworn"(usually 60 out of 100) bring the debate to a close by invoking cloture under Senate Rule XXII."

Currently "The U.S. Senate has 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats (including two independents)."

One might perhaps ask, why did tax bill pass? The Reconciliation process was used, which is:

Reconciliation is a legislative process of the United States Congress that allows expedited passage of certain budgetary legislation on spending, revenues, and the federal debt limit with a simple majority vote in both the House (218 votes) and Senate (51 votes). Senate rules prohibit filibustering and impose a 20-hour cap on the total time for debate, motions and amendments related to reconciliation bills. The procedure also exists in the House of Representatives, but the House regularly passes rules that constrain debate and amendments, so reconciliation has had a less significant impact on that body.[1]

No, they only include those who already qualified for DACA or would be eligible for it when they get older. The age cutoff is already there. As an added bonus, you'll be cutoff from future family sponsorships too and the extra security measures will make your current life even harder.

For those in this situation, is marriage a solution? They wont take away sponsorship for spouses.

The proposal is a starting point in negotiations. If it passes there will be many changes to it.

lol "it's that simple" is when you really don't make a point but want the conversation to end. But no, it's not that simple and you don't dictate what people say on here.

And by the way, which one of the banned people are you person who just made an account on here?

I am hearing that the extra million are the aged out Dreamers of 2012. We will see. None of these articles give a age cap though.

I don't think the current pending/approved application will be denied though for I-130/I-485.
