Yep, mine took almost 10 years. By the time mine was approved I had already fallen out of status (who can stay in college full time for 10-15 years paying out of state tuition?), so now I'm working on an unlawful presence waiver which is taking forever cause I need a valid passport, and my country of origin is such a shithole that I started the process to renew it two years ago and still don't have it.

Wait, parents, spouses, and minor children are NOT subject to quotas.
Siblings are. Are all of you who aged out of petitions derivatives of your parents' sibling or adult children petitions??

That's crazy. My country issues them within an hour and it is still a shitty country.

That Goodlatte bill is ridiculous. At least , this White House framework kinda makes his bill moot. It’s sad when a Stephen Miller bill is more generous to dreamers than a bill written by 2 former immigration lawyers ( one who happens to be Puerto Rican ).

The good thing is that both of those former immigration lawyers will be gone next year.
