Question on new renewals 2018: if the Courts rule against us and determines that October 2017 was indeed the last time renewals can be sent, can uscis order us to return new EADs like they did for certain 3 year EADs?

I was wondering if they could say something like, "any issued EADs where renewals were sent in 2018 is invalid and needs to be returned".

Second, this is a big wave, you have everyone from whom lost their daca already to whose expiring over a year from now. This big wave will slow things down. I’ve read on Facebook where ppl applied back in September for expiring in February and still waiting. Idk about you, I’d rather live sanely than be on this rollercoster.
Makes sense! Thanks!

Nobody knows. Maybe but it’s worth the try!

Question about possible Dreamer legislation passing.

What happens if we have a DACA renewal pending, and Dreamer legislation passes?

Do we have to wait for the DACA renewal to cancel or time out or something before we move forward with the procedures of the new bill, if there will be any bill at all...lol...

That’s the thing, no one knows and that’s why I’m doing everything early. I believe this administration is bitchy enough to do anything. Remember they took all those 3 year cards back?! And that was under a president that liked us.

They only took those 3 year ones back because they were issued after the court injunction. As long as they receive your renewal before another court ruling, you will be processed.

I am honestly not waiting anymore.

I was thinking about waiting until Feb 8 at most...but nah...I am sending it out this weekend.

This DACA/Dreamer drama looks like it isn't going to end anytime soon...and it could get even worse possibly...like no Dreamer bill passing, and SCOTUS ending DACA, and all we have is whatever time we have left on our current EAD.

When did you apply, received and get accepted?

I also applied to Chicago and has been a few weeks since I got the receipts in mail.
I expire in March. 39 days until expiration.

That's very interesting. We have the exact same timeline. do you have a simple case or more complex one?
