I dont think so. Theyll just get to vote on Kennedy's hate crimes amendment.

I would like to take amin and say that the hate crime amendment is awesome i support it ...not only because im gay but because i know many homosexuals in the armed forces.

They should just give us a damn vote.

Im hoping for a DREAM vote tomorrow or Friday.

Damn it this bill was supposed to be finished this Monday. At this pace they'd be lucky to get throught it before November.

About DoD being not apropiate to attach a hate crime bill " to some it is never the right time to talk about hate crimes" what a nail. Thune is probably massaging the injured area. Yea, things are going faster. Oh, it would be terrific if someone other than Durbin came to the floor and speak in favor of Dream. I was thinking that the best strategy for Durbin was not to bring the bill at all to the floor if he senses a lack of support. It is better than working this hard only to see it fail. That is why we need to call as much as we are humanly able. If you can only make one call, that will be terrific. If you can make 10 calls that would be awesome and if you can make 100 calls that is great. But if yo do 1 call when you could easily do 10 calls then my friend you are a tool and a jerk and a son/daughter of a bitch who deserves to stay illegal for the rest of your life and earn minimum wage. Seriously, I do not think J6 and dreamact1982 ough to spend so much time enticing you to call. Working your ass off should be a natural thing for you, like opening your eyes when you wake up. One of the main characteristics of a dreamer is that she/he works really hard all the time. I said, I am not asking for 1,000 per day, just as much as you are able. Can you do it?

Durbin already said he will bring Dream up when he has the votes, hes probably still working on it. i read juans post last night and we are pretty damn close so everybody please just chill about the vote not being today because it would probably fail.

You make an excellent point. We need to patiently wait until Durbin has secured enough votes, it will be better than rushing this. I understand how everyone feels right now, I'm so anxious that I actually feel sick...
