That’s what I keep asking myself. But then again, this administration is a hot, dirty mess.

Honestly, although a path to citizenship would be great, at this point, I would be happy with renewable bridge act that has no travel restrictions, and of course, no draconian measures like criminalizing us for the silliest things.

The only reason I am worried about a renewable status via a bill passing Congress, is that may be all we ever get in our lifetimes...as they will not see any urgency to provide a path to citizenship if we technically have a pseudo permanent residency from the renewable status.

Sure we could probably adjust via marriage etc...but a more clear cut path to citizenship would be nice and more secure.

Anyway, whatever we can get, I guess we should take it...as long it is reasonable.

Although, I think it should be a renewable status that allows us to travel internationally though without restrictions...hopefully...

Honestly, I am grateful that there still seems to be talks to get something done...because after Democrats folded after the shutdown, and then said that a Dreamer fix is no longer needed for budget negotiations, I figured that was a clear sign that the momentum is dead.

I wasn't really that impressed with his SOTU response. Better vocab for sure but the words seem empty and too tingly.

Ah yea because even they know it’s a waste of money. If they really want to stop illegal immigration, then they need to place sharks with lasers in the rio grand and then release attack dogs in the border. Only way.

I mean, you will marry at some point right? Hit the gym, get a good haircut, take a few pics, Photoshop them, and go Tinder lol
