Yes, you can. You might loose a few months on your EAD, but it may be worth it. It is a gamble, really.

I just completed my walk-in for the bio and it took literally 3 minutes. I was the only one there. I have not received the APP for the Bios in the mail yet, so I just printed what got posted online. They only took a picture and only scanned my fingers from my right hand (no thumb). 5 minutes after getting my bios done, I got an email stating my case was updated and now the status says:

Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS
As of February 2, 2018, we are actively reviewing your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXX. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

The rest of my info is in my signature.

Just did my bio walk-in. 5 minutes later received an email update that my case was being actively reviewed.

Now the waiting game begins

Has anyone sent to Dallas PO Box? If so which PO Box did you sent it to?

I walked in on 1/30 but my case status is not updated!

Mine states: "In Process"
USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing."

I saw someone here who applied with an expiration date of May 2019 so I think you should be okay. Their case was accepted and being processed like normal like the rest of us.

YES - everyone should renew no matter their exp. date.
