future DACA deal = Federal govt jobs?

Hi folks. Remember around July 2017, there was some talk about an amendment (by Rep. Pete Aguilar) for FY '18 spending bill, that would allow DACA recipients to work for the Federal government? Does anybody know if any deal with Trump will allow us to work for Federal government? I'm a computer programmer and see all these great jobs i'm qualified for but unfortunately can't apply because i'm obviously not a USC. Thanks

True but was hoping someone knew if Rep. Aguilar's amendment had any chance of being included in any of the deals that are being proposed.
