With my EAD expiring soon and having not heard back about a biometrics appointment although I was on the early side of filing after the injunction, I thought I'd take a shot and email USCIS via the ELIS system. Response I got was a generic response:

"Thank you for your inquiry dated February 05, 2018.

Requesting information about your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) package:

Our system shows that your DACA package, which was filed approximately January 16, 2018, is pending and is within our current processing time.

USCIS’ goal to process renewal DACA requests is 120 days. You may submit an inquiry about the status of your request after it has been pending more than 105 days.

Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of DACA cases. Cases will be processed in the order in which they are received."

I am doubting the "processed in the order in which they were received" at this point.

^Did you call up and request to speak with a second tier officer first? They and infopass can actually schedule or update biometric appointments.

That’s very odd

About 30 minutes later I got USCIS txt update that USCIS is actively reviewing my account. Lets get those approvals folks.

I called in a favor with my aunt and told her to be nice to you!

P.S. - What does your status on USCIS show now?

For the biometrics what was the process like? Did they do all fingers for you guys or just one hand at once and done? It took literally 10 sec and i was done. I assume they already had my prints in the system so it was just searching for it in database? This is my second renewal but I don't remember what they did during my first renewal biometrics.

Yes just the 4 fingers (except thumb) on the right hand and a picture snap and that was it, very quick process.

I think they have evolved the process a lot since DACA began like the forms have changed, the lady who took mine said it had to do with the code printed on the bio appointment letter (Mine was Code 5)

It’s really the computer system that does all the work she scans the bar codes, pushes code 5 on the screen and the computer prompts what it needs.

The person taking the prints is merely a “facilitator” to make sure everything is done right

I'm confused. When I'm being asked "this week" does it mean the week of this reply or the week when op asked the question ?

Ok Ok fine. I'm bored, it was a joke. As you can see I don't have much to do at work.
