@MEPfuller
That's what we want to see. No agreement to bring up DACA, no votes.

His definition of bringing up DACA is having a vote on the Goodlatte bill. That does nothing for us.

He has done nothing to prove he's committed to the issue.

Senate is trying to get an agreement to take cloture vote to end debate on budget bill at 1:45 pm et. That needs 60 yeas. If they get 60..then the vote to pass the budget bill would come next. Would need a simple majority. Nothing locked in yet.

@taragolshan

House Democratic aide tells me there's a "sense of confusion and frustration in the caucus" over Pelosi's stand against the budget deal over DACA. No one is clear on what the strategy is.

@LisaDNews 3m3 minutes ago
WHAT"S IN THIS BILL? Let me try to provide a starting summary.
- $296 B more discretionary spending (2 yrs)
- $89 B for disaster funding.
- $6 B opioid crisis - $20 B infrastructure
- CHIP extend 10 yrs total.
- 2 yrs funding for Comm Hlth Ctrs
- Medicare: Repeals IPAB

If the above is in the budget bill it seems like it would be hard for moderate democrats to vote against it unless Pelosi pressures them.
