Under this proposed bill, only those who benefit from this can’t sponsor your parents.

The problem is it maybe unconstitutional. If a dreamer gain US citizenship through the measure...and the current family immigration system is in place, it would violate the equal protection clause.

Maybe we can't sponsor in LPR but once we become citizens we can. We have to wait for hte bill text.

I’m sure they know what to do, before bills are introduced they’re revised by lawyers.

Perfect bipartisan bill with compromises from both sides! Though I don’t think Trump will be on board at all, at this point it’s what Republicans want and I doubt this is a contender bill.

This bill is good. At this point all they're doing is adding more bills to the mountain. When is voting going to begin?

That's a valid concern, but I think it would pass constitutional muster. If the class is not a suspect class, Congress only needs a rational basis to pass the law (low standard) and avoid an Equal Protection violation. Alienage is a suspect class, but that's regarding citizens and non-citizens, not between citizens.
