I doubt Democrats will cave. Schumer would love to see us getting deported just so they can rile up some votes come 2018 midterms. This was his exact words...

This will definitely be the battle of the “blame” game.

Nothing will ever get done about DACA with Trump in the White House because he doesn't want us in this country.

He cancelled it and refused to sign a bipartisan deal. End of story.
You are quite right. However, the Dems had a very solid chance of reaching a deal with him when they introduced the bill after the Jan meeting. They squandered it when TPS was added on to our issue and the wall funding was way below the $18Billion they were initially asking for.

When your starting offer is sooo low that it makes you disgusted, ofc it'll piss you off and poisons the good faith negotiations.

There is no reason why Democrats should cave in. They got nothing to lose while Trump is not getting his wall and as well get shitstorm when Dreamers start getting deported.

Trump sunk the whole process with his veto threat.

He obviously doesnt know how to govern. All he has gotten done was the tax bill, and that is highly unpopular.

I hope former Vice President Joe Biden runs. He is our only hope for 2020

Yes, please update the first post with the results. I'm looking everywhere to see what the results are.

All of the amendments failed to get 60 votes. Immigration debate is over for now.
