While I did not attend that school, I organized a little bit in that school. A lot of my colleagues from the Immigrant Youth Justice League graduated from there, they are a very large school and a lot of programs. I know an associate director in that school and she is a chairwoman of the Illinois DREAM Act.
So you could have good support there.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) is different, there has been less support for undocumented students from upper management in that school.
UIC is a certainly a very large school more affordable if you are paying instate tuition.
