Good to see someone who isn’t delusional or thinks we have any say on what we get.

I think most of us are woke...lol...but ultimately the Dems will do whatever they decide...and I doubt we here on DAP are going to sway them any.

I am ready to sign up for whatever comes from all of this, within reason...but honestly, I don't even think a DACA extension is going to pass this Congress.

The way things have gone, it just seems that anything immigration related just cannot get done with these politicians currently in office.

I will even say that it is possible that DACA has to officially end, without any relief to us, and then some of us start going into deportation proceedings, before something may actually finally happen.

I hate to say that, but that is how hopeless this entire thing feels.

Will we be able to adjust with this plan? As long as we get into some form of legal status, there's a pathway to citizenship via employer sponsorship, etc.

Maybe we won't get anything, so I can understand any one of us desperately trying to grab a nearby life jacket.

I think it is more likely we never get anything, than even some kind of DACA extension bill passing.

Honestly, as long as he doesn't get $25 billion for us to be in this situation in 3 years time...

YES, EXACTLY!!

A good reasonable start, even for some bullshit DACA lite bill...is that if they want any wall money, then set up the program as renewable, maybe with some toppings like international travel opportunities...then you can probably have something that can work out...for now at least.

How much wall money then is another issue still...as 25 billion for DACA lite bill is still a bad deal for Dems.
