Pretty straightforward especially if there aren't any RFE issues.
So there is only 1 interview?

Isn't there something in between the EAD and the final approval?

Like a Conditional Green Card?

Only one interview unless they suspect fraud.

You get the conditional GC only if your marriage is less than 2 years old. If that's the case, you have to apply to remove conditions two years later.

I received my EAD with advanced parole. So I should be safe to travel anywhere I want?
My case status haven’t moved to “case ready to be scheduled” :/.

Ok so if married less than 2 years I have to apply to remove conditions, does that require an interview?

What is the timeline with approx amount of time?
Is this pretty close?

Application 130, 485, 765
EAD (within 90 days)
Conditional Green card (time?)
Removal of Conditions (after 2 years of marriage)

Then what?
Permanent Green card ( time?)

Interview for Citizenship (Time?)

Decision

From what I've read, no interview to remove conditions in most cases as long as you submit good evidence that you're still married and living together/co-mingling. But it is an option that they can call you for an interview to verify.

To remove conditions you must send the application 90 days before the conditional GC expires

After you submit your packet, you get a biometrics appointment about 1 month after they received your packet (priority date or PD)

EAD is supposed to be within 90 days of your PD, in most cases it seems to be between 90-120 days, in a few cases longer (me)

Your 130/485 interview is about 6-12 months after your PD, depending on your field office, but could be longer if there are any RFEs, etc. If you pass you get the conditional GC or 10 yr GC. worth noting few people with 2016 PD are still waiting

After you apply to remove conditions, you get a 10 year GC

If you're still married to the same USC, you can apply for citizenship after 3 years from the date you received your first GC (after the interview, doesnt matter if it was conditional or 10 year)

Hello all,

I have a question - I'm a DACA recipient, but I came here with a tourist Visa but we overstayed since 2007, I submitted my AOS packet back in 12/01/17 through marriage, I don't have any criminal record. Could I be able to request AP due to work with the new EAD that I will receive through the AOS? or based on what I said above, is there anything that will consider me inadmissible to be able to come back to the US, with a 485 pending? Or is it even smart to travel with a 485 pending status?

Thank you.

I completely agree with you eRkah, if I may add it is advisable to send in your Removal of Conditions paperwork within the 90 day window before the expiration of the 2 year green card. I have seen people stress that it should NOT be earlier than 90 days if not the packet will be rejected and returned for filing too early. It is safer to apply when you are sure that you have at least reached day 90 prior to the expiry.

For citizenship you can also apply within the 90 day window prior to your 3rd year anniversary of being a permanent resident. I hope this helps.

You should definitely call and speak to a level 2 officer as many times as needed to ensure that it was sent to the correct address.
