I just went in for biometrics, the last couple of times that I came they did all 10 prints and checked them several times. Today they just took one swipe of 4 fingers on my right hand. Seems odd, did anyone have this experience? Maybe I am just on edge and worried about everything.

that is because they already have your prints, now they are just verifying them

It's something new. If you check your Biometrics appointment letter, it states Code 5.

Mine has code 5.

They still took all 10 finger prints.

Technically they've had our prints since our first biometrics appointment, but they still made us redo all 10 fingerprint except for this time around.

They shouldn't have. Code 3 is all 10 fingers, Code 5 is 4 fingers. You probably looked suspicious to them and they wanted to check you more thoroughly, lol. Kidding.

I had cut my left middle finger real deep few days ago. I wasnt worried since people were saying they took only right fingers. When the person started taking left fingers, i was like here we go. But then it went all smooth. The machine didn't give a fukk about the cut. Prints came out perfect.

Just got my biometric done today, they also took one swipe of my right hand fingers (4 of them), the lady said because I’m already in the system she did not need to take all fingers. Was there for like 10min, in and out! Very easy and fast process!
