Hi All -

USCIS just received my 3rd DACA/EAD Renewal Packet today. For those interested, here is the cover letter on top of my packet.

I understand that some of you may not have these documents and not all these documents are required if you don't have them (I've noted this in the brackets next to each attached item in red)

--------------------------

VIA U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

2/20/2018

USCIS
Attn: DACA
131 S. Dearborn – 3rd Floor,
Chicago, IL 60603-5517

RE: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Renewal Request

Dear Sir/Madam,

Enclosed for filing, please find the following in support of my request for DACA renewal.

 $495 Filing and Biometrics Services Fee made payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (Required)
 G-1145 Electronic Notification (Optional but Preferred)
 I-821D Request for Consideration for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Required)
 Copy of the previous I-821D approval from USCIS (Preferred - someone else noted that they got approved without sending it, but would suggest to send a copy of this if you are able to)
 2 Passport-size photos (Required - however, I've noticed applications have been scheduled for biometrics with out it; you should try and add this.)
 I-765 Employment Authorization Application (Required)
 I-765 Employment Authorization Worksheet (Required)
 Tear-off portion from the previous letter from USCIS that had the EAD included (Optional - it's preferred since it can potentially speed up your application since it has all the barcodes, but no guarantee it will)
 Copy of current Employment Authorization Document (front and back) - (Required)
 Copy of I-94 (Optional - only if you have this should you submit it. It's not needed if you never had one but I am being extra cautious and sending it as per I-765 instructions)
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me should you require anything further.

--------------

Like many on this thread, I encourage people to send their renewal packets if they are expiring this year as soon as possible if they haven't already.

Wishing you all good luck!

Mixed feelings about the fast turn around. I expire in September. Was hoping they'd take their sweet time processing.

Meh.

Meh.
I wouldn't feel quite sure about that yet. Most people who have been approved quickly had expiration date <100 days.

It's unclear how many people expire before you, and processing might slow down. There's a huge bump of people who expire between 150-200 days from now in our data.

I'd say your concern of losing time is not quite justified yet. I also expire in September, but I'd like my renewal be approved sooner rather than later.

Not required. I have renewed twice now and have never sent it before. This time I sent it and my application was accepted and I already had my biometrics appointment

Mine hasn't changed too. When I check from the USCIS case status, it shows “biometric appointment was scheduled” If I login to ELIS account it shows "In Process"
USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing." What is your status on the ELIS account?
