So, no AP, no renewals.

They can also add disqualifying criteria (tickets, use of public assistance), etc. I don't think that they will sit on their hands, and neither should Democrats. Help fix this once and for all.
I'd love seeing them extending it to cover the 1.8 million people they talked about.

Something that will never happen lol.

In 3 years, we will all be back here bitching and I will tell you i fucking told you so if congress is worse at that point.

Like I said, why is anyone even thinking this will pass? It won't. Trump has already said no to a daca patch when he was pushing for the grassley bill
So...
Ok fine. I'll take permanent DACA if passed. Which will not happen because Trump will not okay it by the way you paint things .

The only reason this daca patch idea is being pushed around is because Democrats dont want to use leverage to force a fair permant deal. Hence you have trump making all these crazy demands.

The government has had more than enough time to fix this issue. DACA is the temporary fix which been in place for almost for six years. Extension of DACA is only going to cause more issues and backlog with immigration. I think they should let us know what they're plans are so they can we can move forward be it a permanent fix or no fix at all. Saying that they would revisit this issue in 2020 or 2021 is highly unlikely. Having a two temporary status also has it cons , you will eventually run into issues with getting certain jobs especially good paying jobs and important things like buying a house.

But the government cannot agree on the same things. And the parties want to use us as their pawns for political victory.

Dick Durbin says it's up to Trump to decide next step on #DACA. ``I think most everyone is waiting to see if President Trump ever makes up his mind. He sounds sympathetic to Dreamers and then he gives a snake speech about immigrants. I mean, he's impossible to follow or track.''
